NEWPATH TENRIKYO - BRIEFLY PONDERING RECOLLECTIONS OF THE TEACHING

"...[U]understanding which accords perfectly with God the Parent's teachings will rise up within us spontaneously when we read the Ofudesaki-and the Doctrine for that matter-not in a way that gives priority to our preconceived notions about what it is, but in a way that maintains the mind as it is at birth before it is conditioned."

The mind before it is conditioned, the mind of a three year old child, the mind like clear water, the mind before it accumulated images of self and common truths of  the world. Finding a way or ways to return the mind to that original pure condition is the work, the service of those who would willingly consent to awaken and who may then freely choose to be instrumental in helping others to quickly do so as well.
